Focus Your Time Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Overview
Focus Your Time is a productivity web application designed to help users plan focus sessions, manage Pomodoro timers, and review private productivity analytics. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and what choices users have.
Data Collection
When a user creates an account or signs in, Focus Your Time may process account information provided by authentication providers such as Google, GitHub, or Apple OAuth. This may include a user identifier, email address, display name, profile image, and provider metadata needed to keep the account secure.
The app may also store focus-session data, such as completed session times, session type, selected settings, and task-linked productivity history. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored by Focus Your Time.
Use Of Cookies And Session Tokens
Focus Your Time may use cookies, local storage, Firebase authentication tokens, and, where enabled, NextAuth session tokens to keep users signed in, protect private routes, remember preferences, and maintain secure sessions.
Users can clear browser cookies or site data at any time, though doing so may sign them out or reset local preferences.
How Data Is Used
User data is used to provide core application features, including account access, timer settings, saved sessions, dashboard analytics, abuse prevention, security monitoring, and product improvement.
Third-Party Services
Focus Your Time may rely on trusted third-party services to operate the app. These may include Firebase for authentication, Supabase or PostgreSQL hosting for database storage, Vercel for hosting and serverless infrastructure, Vercel Analytics for privacy-conscious usage metrics, and Google AdSense for advertising placements if ads are enabled.
These services may process limited technical data according to their own privacy policies, such as IP address, browser information, device information, performance logs, or ad interaction data.
Data Sharing
Focus Your Time does not sell personal productivity data. Data may be shared only when needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, protect users, prevent abuse, or work with service providers under appropriate safeguards.
User Rights
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of their personal data. Users can also delete their account from the profile menu, which removes the backend profile and saved session history connected to that account.
For additional privacy requests, contact [email protected].
Data Retention
Account and session records are kept while an account is active or as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain security. Deleted account data may remain briefly in backups before routine deletion.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated as Focus Your Time grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
